Our Club

The Missouri State Fair is Aug 10-20 so we cannot use our field at this time. Hope you come out and fly after the fair.

The June 3rd fun fly was great. Although we did not have a lot of people show up those that did enjoyed it. It was a little windy with some gusts that made flying the lighter planes more challenging. There were some younger kids that were awesome pilots. Jim flew his helicopter several times. He always impress people with his skills.

On Thursday starting a 5:30, during the summer and weather permitting, several club members get together and fly until dark. This is a good time to come out and learn about the hobby. Visitors are always welcome.

Our meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month a 5:30 at the field.. During the cold weather a meeting location has not been set yet. Everyone is welcome.

The Sedalia RC Flyers club was established in 1990, under the Academy of Model Aeronautics charter #2818 and incorporated as Not-For-Profit in 2014. Our club consists of both new and experienced flyers. We fly all types of airplanes, helicopters and quads. An AMA membership is required to fly at our field except when flying with a designated instructor.

The flying field is located on the Missouri State Fair Grounds Gate 9 (off of Clarendon Rd)
Visitors are always welcome.

We have open flying for any current AMA members. If the gate is open you are welcome to come in and watch us fly or bring your plane and fly with us.  Please follow the far right road and park behind the fence.
